Description
This Hiking Merit Badge Pamphlet provides scouts with the information needed to earn the Hiking Merit Badge. Scouts will learn how to treat hiking-related injuries, the good hiking practices of Leave No Trace, plan a 10 mile hike, etc. Successfully completing this sports-activity merit badge is one of the requirements to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. If preferred, either the Swimming or Cycling badge may be earned instead.
