Hack Your Child's Summer With STEAM!
TechLab – our premiere STEAM camp – provides fun, engaging, hands-on exploration of science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics unlike anything your child has done in school!
Alma, Parent
“(My son) has implemented some of the subjects he learned at camp, in school and every day life. He has taken an even greater interest in technology because of his experience in camp.”
Joaquin, Camper
“Attending this camp lets me to work on things that I don’t usually get to do, like robotics and film making.”
Heather, Parent
“My oldest son had an amazing time last year! He came home raving and wanting to go back every night.”
Our theme this year is “Oceans” and just like a dip in the pool, we’ll keep you cool during the summer heat while you attend our camp inside Anderson High School’s Applied Technology Center this June and July.
Summer 2025 camp dates
Week 1 – June 23-27
Week 2 – July 7-11
Week 3 – July 14-18
Week 4 – July 21-25
You don’t have to be a Scout to attend TechLab!
3rd-5th Grade (Bears and Webelos) campers will try their hands at toy design, robotics, digital media, movie making, physics, geology, programming, and more – all with fun outdoor games and physical activities that satisfy creative minds and build friendships. Plus these Scouts can complete multiple Adventures and Nova Awards!
6th-9th Grade (Scouts BSA) campers will explore topics like design, robotics, programming, digital media, movie making, geology, environmental science, and more. While doing so, campers won’t hear a lecture; they will ask the questions and use their imagination (and our tools) to find the answers. Plus these Scouts can earn multiple merit badges!
Camp attendees use tools like:
- DSLR cameras
- laser cutters/engravers
- 3D printers
- robotics kits
- hydrology display boards
- Adobe Creative Suite and Labview software
